How I construct my mini concertina books.

This is how I made my template for a mini concertina sketch book. It’s so useful rather than cutting the watercolour paper as one wrong cut can be a disaster! Having this to refer to was so useful.

If you fancy having a go at making your own concertina book, this might give you some ideas. I really like the experimental process of making one of these, and the small scale means there is no pressure. It can sit in my work space until a page ‘calls to me’ to add a little something. 

Of course, it’s never entirely finished until I put the outer fabric backing on it.
